Therapeutically Focused Yoga is the process of empowering individuals to progress toward improved health and well-being through the application of the philosophy and practice of Yoga. The Glenmore Yoga’s 300 Hour Program will provide the practical skills and related knowledge required to become a competent and effective therapeutically informed Yoga Teacher. Developing a therapeutic relationship with clients is the hallmark of our program. This program will allow a yoga teacher to develop the specialized skills and knowledge for the application of yoga in a therapeutic setting.
The program is open to all yoga teachers holding at least a 200-Hour teacher certification from an accredited program. Graduates of this 300 Hour Program will meet the requires of Yoga Alliance (YA) 500 Hour registration.
The Program consists of fifteen training modules, required readings and completion of associated study guides, observations, design and completion of a supervised therapeutic practicum. The program must be completed within 24 months of the program start date.
Bridge Training Program & Fees
Students entering the Glenmore Yoga’s Therapeutically Focused 300 Hour Program with a 200 Hour Certification from a yoga school other than Glenmore Yoga have the option of taking Foundation Training Modules. These modules include: Anatomy of the upper and lower body and the Asana modules. The Foundation Training fee is $450 per module and is to be paid in the month when a module is taken.
