This mixed level yoga class fuses multiple movement forms including glimpses of Tai Chi, Pilates, cardio, dance and more into a yoga class to improve body strength, core stability, endurance, balance, flexibility, coordination and function. Receive all the benefits of yoga including stress relief with a final body relaxation and ultimately a calming of the mind. And all while having fun and building community with upbeat music and flow! Join Kerry Shultz, ERYT-500, NBCHWC, FMCHC for restorative yoga which will include a Loving Kindness meditation to feel more connected and cultivate compassion for yourself and others. Focus on relaxation, renewal, effortlessness, and ease. We will practice being at peace with whatever we find in our lives. Restorative Yoga is a therapeutic style of yoga using props in restful postures to move the body towards balance. This passive and gentle form of yoga creates specific physiological responses, which are beneficial to overall health and can reduce the effects of stress, calm the nervous system, enhance the immune system and optimize energy flow to the organs of the body.

Join Rick Plautz & Sue Agee for a soothing experience. Sue will lead a short, gentle and calming yoga practice followed by a guided meditation. Rick will lead a soothing sound bath. You are welcome to sit supported or recline for an immersive journey through a variety of musical instruments, including Native American flute, harmonium, quartz sound bowls and vocal toning. The resonant combination of frequencies creates a deeply relaxing and transcendent experience.

Courtney Bernsen, RYT 200, invites teens to step away from the stress of every day life and develop tools to help process emotions, manage stress and anxiety through yoga and breath. Courtney, a school counselor for 16 years, has developed her workshop for this age group. Learn how yoga encourages self-understanding by addressing the connection between body and mind. Explore the physical body’s potential, recognize the power to direct change and develop awareness of how mental attitude influences inner peace.
