Individual Yoga Session
Meet with a senior Glenmore yoga teacher to discuss individual goals. Develop a personalized plan to meet your needs. Learn the postures and breathing techniques that could benefit you, based on your specific issues and needs. Learn postures that you may need to avoid or modify to safely practice yoga. Private sessions may also be set up for meditation as well.
Meet with a Certified Yoga Therapist to discuss the use of yoga postures, movement, breathing exercises and meditation to improve mental and physical health. Yoga therapy adapts the practice of yoga to the needs of people with specific health issues which are not usually addressed in a group class. Rather than focus on yoga poses and practice, a yoga therapist will focus on the specific needs of the client. The goal is not to teach yoga but to help the client find relief from their individual symptoms or health conditions. Yoga Therapists are certified through the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT)
